Inside the Caucasus Collection

Some hijab prints are simply pretty. Others make you stop and wonder where the design came from.
When I started planning Hiyara Label’s newest collection, I kept returning to the detailed rugs and traditional carpet designs of Dagestan. The rich colors, layered patterns, and tiny details felt completely different from the printed hijabs I was used to seeing.
I wanted to bring some of that beauty into hijabs that felt modern, wearable, and still completely Hiyara. That idea became the Caucasus Collection.
Caspian: The Rug Print
Caspian is the bolder of the two designs. Inspired by the look of traditional Dagestani rugs, it features deep red tones and an intricate pattern that makes the hijab feel like a piece of art.
Despite all its detail, Caspian is surprisingly easy to style. Pair it with black, cream, brown, or another neutral shade and let the print become the focus.

This is the hijab for the days when you want your scarf to do all the work.
Laila: Inspired by Arbabash Designs
Laila was inspired by traditional Arbabash carpet designs from Dagestan. Its earthy colors, florals, and ornamental details give it a softer and more delicate feeling than Caspian.
I loved how the design felt vintage without looking outdated. It has enough detail to transform a simple look while remaining easy to wear throughout the day.

Laila pairs beautifully with black, cream, olive, brown, and other warm neutral shades.
Why Modal?
A detailed print needs a fabric that allows it to move naturally. That’s why both hijabs were created using lightweight modal.
Modal gives Caspian and Laila the soft drape that Hiyara Label is known for. It allows the patterns to flow instead of feeling stiff, while remaining lightweight and comfortable enough for everyday wear.
The drape, the softness, and the way it elevates even the simplest look are exactly why I love working with modal.
Inspired by Tradition, Made for Today
The Caucasus Collection is my way of bringing something different to the U.S. hijab market. Prints inspired by the beauty and artistry of Dagestan, reimagined as hijabs you can make your own.
Caspian is bold and dramatic. Laila is soft and ornamental. They have two distinct personalities, but together they tell the story of a collection inspired by tradition and designed for today.
Which one feels more like you, Caspian or Laila?
